Brief note about Mechanical Computers:
It was 1835, the two disciplines was combined to create a "difference engine" by Charles Babbage capable of solving polynomial functions without having to use unreliable, hand calculated tables.
Despite generous government funding, Babbage sadly never fully finished his difference engine and the project abandoned in 1834. Babbage didn't stop thinking about computing. In 1835, Babbage has released designs for his "analytical engine," it is a device similar to the difference engine by using programmable punched cards had many more potential functions that calculating polynomials.
The engine was never built but thousands of detailed diagrams produced by the Babbage.
In 1849, More efficient and similar difference engine created by the Babbage using the analysis form analytical engine. Engine no.2 was not built until 1991, It worked perfectly when the London science Museum completed the machine from blueprints.
As we know today AI is ruling the world day by day is evolving more lets have some discussion about itDespite generous government funding, Babbage sadly never fully finished his difference engine and the project abandoned in 1834. Artificial Intelligence(1956):
Charles Babbage who originated the concept of programmable computers and he is the father of computer.Since the drawn of computers , people have wondered if they can be made to show Intelligence to think in the way that humans think. Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace first debated the question when they worked together to create the first computer in 1835.
Claude Shannon who was a mathematician of U.S. by 1950 was busy in trying to figure out how computers could play game. Do you know the game......????? it was a chess game. on the other side Atlantic,Alan Turing published his paper on computing Machinery and Intelligence . But it was considered the problem of how you decide that machine was intelligent or not.
To study the issue of Intelligence research in 1955,John McCarthy of Dartmouth college, New Hampshire proposed a conference. For the first time the phrase "Artificial Intelligence" was used by him in his conference and entire field of study was born. Now the defining moment of AI(Artificial Intelligence) research is the 1956 Dartmouth conference. The path was set by the conference for research for years to come, made a questionnaire that remain unanswered to this day. Harvard's Marvin Minsky one of the great minds who attended devoted the rest of their careers to a subject that had only just been given a name.
Artificial Intelligence remains exclusive, many attendees expecting Intelligent machines to appear within a decade while there was a great optimism at the conference. Although there have been notable successes.
IBM's Deep Blue computer beating chess champion Gray Kasparov in 1997, they have been in a narrow fields. In 1997 Deep Blue became the first machine to win a chess game against world champion.
Recently Facebook has created two AI's but they shutdown the both due the mysterious chats held between the two robots still the chat is visible but the language is mysterious . so Facebook get tensed and finally shut downed.
Guys, directly you can't learn AI but there is a step wise process to learn AI like data science, machine learning etc. So I'll bring you updates through this Techy Drift platform. your opinions will be taken in the below comment section
